Hello!
My name is Jodie Rawn and I am a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist with a professional interest in Autism. Below I have provided some more information on my story and training.
My Story
In 2019, I completed my Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology at Western University. I moved to Alberta in order to gain more experience in Autism services. I spent the last 5 years working with Autistic children and children with other disabilities including Down syndrome, William's syndrome, Angelman syndrome, Fragile X syndrome, etc.. I spent most of my time working at the Centre for Autism Services Alberta where I worked with Autistic children in the home and school settings. This was also where I participated in trainings and gained knowledge and experience that enhanced my ability to work with Autistic children effectively and confidently. My experiences working with children with disabilities, children with Augmentative and Alternative Communication(AAC) needs as well as my training in Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT), make me a unique service provider. The details of my training and experiences can be found in the section below.

After gaining this work experience, I knew I was ready to come home and support people in my own community! I hope to connect with families and support people in my home community for many years to come.
